Entry level way to enter stock car racing

 

BODY

 

1. Front and Rear Bumper must remain stock with NO sharp edges. Bumper must have tow chains front and rear.

2. B.Hood and trunk may utilize stock hinges but must be secured with hood pins.

3. No hulling or lightening of body. The only areas on car that may be hulled are the front driver and passenger doors.

4. All flammable and glass must be removed

5. Any holes in front firewall and rear firewall must be covered with aluminum or steel

6. All cars must have numbers on front doors and roof.

7. Steering column must remain stock, all airbags must be removed

8. Must have at least (4) vertical windshield bars in front of driver.

9. Roll cage must be inside driver compartment only, NO part of cage may extend outside of driver compartment

10. Four (4) driver door bars and (3) passage door  bars minimum.

11. Cage must be securely mounted to FRAME SUSPENSION.

 

SUSPENSION

 

1. No altering of stock suspension

2. Stock adjustments only on modification

 

ENGINE/TRANSMISSION

 

1. Engine must be completely stock.

2. 4.6 SOHC

3. Exhausted must exit behind driver.

4. Catalytic converter may be removed.

5. Transmission must be completely stock.

6. A.C. condenser must be removed.

 

SAFETY

 

1. Drivers must wear fire suit, racing gloves, racing shoes and helmet with on track.

2. Hans device recommended

3. Racing seat and belts mandatory

4. Racing belt must have five (5) point system

5. Fire Extinguisher required in all cars

 

TIRES/WHEELS

 

1. Tires must be DOT legal and all four (4) must be the same size.

2. Wheels must be stock and steel and all (4) wheels must be the same size and offset.

3. No Wheel spacers of any kind.

4. Tire size 235/55/17      225/60/16       215/70/15  All season tires only

 

WEIGHT

 

1. No weight can be added.

 

REAR-END

 

1. Must be factory stock rear-end with stock components

2. The only legal gears will be 2.73,   3.27,   3.55

3. Rear differential may be locked by welding spider gears or stock limited slip carrier only but gear ratio rule remains the same (3.55 max gear)

 

FUEL

 

1. Pump gas only NO RACING FUEL!

2. Stock fuel tank and fuel pump only
